First VisitFirst VisitFirst VisitThe Doctors and staff of Summit Chiropractic Clinic take great pride in providing a friendly and comfortable environment for all types of people.
When you first arrive you will be greeted by the Receptionist and asked to provide personal and family history about yourself and your insurance, if applicable. Before your consultation with the Doctor, you will see a short video about chiropractic and what to expect on your first visit.
After viewing the video, the Doctor will discuss with you any concerns you may have. The Doctor will determine if yours is a chiropractic case. If so, you will then proceed to our examination room and be given a complete chiropractic examination and chiropractic x-rays. After you have been x-rayed, you will be returned to the waiting room while the doctor develops and analyzes your x-rays and examination findings.
When the doctor has completed his preliminary analysis, he will walk you to one of our three adjusting rooms and give you a brief description of his findings and familiarize you with how the adjusting tables work. You will then be giving your first chiropractic adjustment.
After your adjustment, the Doctor will bring you back out to the front desk to arrange your next appointment. During your second visit, he will give you a more detailed "Report of Findings." He will describe, in detail, his findings and his recommendations for care. You will receive informational materials specific to your health and will be encouraged to discuss any questions you may have about your care.
At this time you may discuss any insurance questions or concerns you may have with the Front Desk staff and they will gladly answer them for you.
Your first visit will take approximately 1-1/2 hours to complete. Your second visit, including your second adjustment, will take about 45 minutes. Your third visit which is the adjustment only will take about 15-20 minutes, this is normally how long your visits will be.
