Dr. Cecil C. Chalfant is the Founder and Director of Summit Chiropractic Clinic. He has been practicing the art and science of chiropractic in Jackson since 1963. Three of his brothers became Doctors of Chiropractic and they practice in various parts of the country. He and his wife, Linda, have raised six children -- three of whom are chiropractors -- two are currently in practice with him at Summit Chiropractic Clinic. Dr. Chalfant is a graduate of Michigan Center High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Hillsdale College. In 1962, he graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, the oldest and most prestigious chiropractic college in the world. He was a student at the college during the tenure of Dr. B.J. Palmer, the "developer" of chiropractic and son of Dr. D.D. Palmer, discoverer of chiropractic in 1895. Dr. Lance E. Chalfant has been in practice at Summit Chiropractic Clinic since 1989. He graduated from Jackson High School and went on to complete his pre-chiropractic studies at Central Michigan University and Hillsdale College. Dr. Chalfant is a 1989 graduate of Life Chiropractic College, in Marietta, Georgia, the largest chiropractic college in the world. Dr. Chalfant has two children and resides in Spring Arbor Township. Dr. Chalfant is involved with the Kiwanis Club of Jackson-Northwest.
Dr. Andrew C. Chalfant
has been in practice at Summit Chiropractic since 1992. He is a graduate of Jackson High School. He received his Associate of Science degree from Jackson Community College in 1987. Dr. Chalfant graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1992. After graduation, Dr. Chalfant and his wife, Stephanie, our Billing Manager, moved back to Jackson to raise their family of nine children. They reside in Spring Arbor Township. Dr. Andrew Chalfant is also very active in First Church of Christ (Christian) as a current Elder.
Dr. Ronald K. Adams
has been in practice at Summit Chiropractic Clinic since 1992. As a teenager, he experienced total relief from severe migraine headaches with chiropractic care. He graduated from Litchfield High School in Hillsdale County and did his undergraduate work at Jackson Community College and the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Dr. Adams is a 1992 graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College. He is affiliated with the Michigan Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractors Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Christian Chiropractors Association, and the World Chiropractic Alliance. Dr. Adams has been involved in chiropractic missions overseas. He and his wife, Denise, reside in Jackson.
